Version Upgrade Support for CMS
Epicor may have provided you with notification of an impending software maintenance increase for those remaining on the older version of CMS. As you consider upgrading to the new version of CMS, you may have some concerns about the compatibility of your customized objects or 3rd party application conflicts.
If you don’t have internal system resources available to run separate partition for the testing of the new CMS version, Datanational can provide this service on a month-to-month contract option. We can assist with uplifting of your customized code and performing the necessary testing in a test environment to make sure everything will work as expected, without unexpected “surprises” on a Go Live day.
This engagement is usually a joint effort with Epicor Professional Services, where they perform a CMS application version upgrade on a Test partition, allowing you to test off line from your production environment. Once all of the testing has been completed, a live migration date will be scheduled where Epicor will then perform a CMS version upgrade on the live system on your production CMS database.
